The China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo 2020 (CITIE 2020), one of China's largest tourism fairs, lowered the curtain on the afternoon of September 13th in the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

According to GZL International Travel Service Ltd., the travel agency received double reservations and achieved double revenue for interprovincial tourism during the first two days of the expo compared with the same period last year. It also got twice as much prepayment customers and revenue from tourist products in Guangdong and Macao SAR on a year-on-year basis.

Over 500 professional buyers in groups from across the country participated in the expo. A total of 12 conferences featuring over one thousand business meetings were held to promote supply and demand requirements during the expo.

More than 60 overseas tourist destinations and over 1,000 exhibitors staged about 100 livestreams, including nearly 20 guided tours to the booths of Thailand, Japan, South Korea, China's Hong Kong and Macao SARs, Shaoguan, Huizhou and others. The livestream periods totaled over 2,000 minutes.
