Chinese exhibitors are mainly from 21 cities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao SARs, and more than 20 other provinces and cities across the country. If you want to get a real bargain, don't forget to get your subsidy on the UnionPay APP or the official WeChat account of "Guangdong Culture and Tourism" (in Chinese 广东文化旅游) provided by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province. During the CITIE 2020, you can enjoy hefty rebates by paying with UnionPay for all the products on sale, including tourist routes and cultural products.

You can also sign up for the second Guangdong Culture and Tourism Passport (the GBA version) at the expo with valid documentation. The passport, highlighting 27 famous tourist destinations in the nine GBA cities, is a way for you to collect commemorative stamps and win commemorative badges from each scenic spot you visit.

In accordance with the epidemic prevention and control requirements, all visitors are required to make a real-name registration to get a pass code in advance, prepare their Suikang Codes and personal documentation for a security check, have their temperature checked upon entering the venue, and wear a mask the whole time at the fair. A signing ceremony was held on the morning of September 11th at the expo, during which an agreement on tourism market regulation between the two SARs and nine GBA cities in Guangdong was signed. By entering into this agreement, the 11 regions will jointly improve the regulation of tourist market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and promote the high quality development of the tourism industry.

The annual CITIE, launched in 2005, has become China's largest tourism fair, attracting a growing number of visitors, tourism destinations, service providers and suppliers worldwide. In addition to offline exhibition, exhibitors from around the world who can't present in person will display their tourism products via online roadshows and livestreams.
