On August 15th, dozens of teenagers from Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao visited the Archaeological Site Museum of Nanyue Palace in Guangzhou to learn more about the city's history and culture.
In addition to a field trip to the site, the students also attended a lecture on how the Nanyue Palace was built and a training class about how to serve as interpreters in the museum.
The event forms part of an activity entitled "Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Cultural Exchange Season" hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, which has been in place since 2016. Over 10,000 young people from the three regions have taken part in this activity over the past five years.
