Remember Guangzhou Evergrande released their plan to build a "Golden Lotus" stadium in Guangzhou about three months ago? A new design was passed on July 3rd, and the world's largest professional football stadium will look like this after the construction is completed.

The new design got the name "Lotus Crown", with the inspiration from "Bingdi Lotus"-- two lotus flowers on a stalk.

Earlier on April 16th, the world's largest stadium broke ground in the business district of Guangzhou South Railway Station. With over 100,000 seats, the stadium will surpass Camp Nou in Barcelona in terms of capacity.

100,000 fans flooding into and out of the stadium seems to be a challenge for the traffic conditions in surrounding areas. Don't worry, Guangzhou South Railway Station's extensive rail transportation system will play an important role. In the future, it will take you no more than 30 minutes from the station to reach Guangzhou downtown, Foshan and Dongguan.

Experts believe that the Stadium owned by Guangzhou Evergrande is not just a football stadium, but a big mall for both sports and business. In the future, the new signature building of Guangzhou will bear the sport feasts in the entire Pearl River Delta and even the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

What's noteworthy is that there is only about five kilometers between the stadium and Guangzhou Chimelong, a few minutes' drive via Hanxi Dadao.

And then, this may become a new lifestyle for football fans: the whole family can visit Chimelong the previous day, stay in Panyu for one night and enjoy local food. And the next day comes the time for exhilarating football games and cheering for their favorite team!

The leisure life of fans and tourists still continues with eight national A-level tourist attractions in Panyu, namely:

Chimelong Tourist Resort, Lianhuashan Tourist Resort, Baomo Garden, Guangdong Science Center, Lingnan Impression Garden, Shawan Ancient Town, Yonghua Art Museum and Fisherman's Wharf.
