The 62th press conference on Guangdong's fight against COVID-19 was held in Guangzhou today on June 5th.

Guangdong has no new confirmed COVID-19 cases for 37 consecutive days since April 29th and no new symptomatic patients for 31 days in a row from May 5th, according to Zhou Zixiao, Deputy Director-General of the Health Commission of Guangdong Province.

During the press conference, Guangdong released 26 strategies to support ex-servicemen to obtain employment and start their own businesses.

The province has launched an online recruitment platform for ex-servicemen. 741 companies have registered on the platform since March, which provides more than 20 thousand jobs. According to the statistics, more than 3000 ex-servicemen successfully re-employed through the platform.

In addition, Guangdong also provide ex-servicemen who started their own businesses with a series of tax deduction.
