More Guangdong universities, namely Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics, and South China Agricultural University recently released their students’ back to school plans:

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies

The university will see its final year PhD, masters and undergraduate students return to school in different waves from June 12th. Other students will continue their courses online and will not return to school for face-to-face classes.

Students currently overseas are not allowed to return to school until further notice is given.

South China Normal University

On a voluntary basis, SCNU is arranging for all final year students and other students who need to carry out scientific research tasks or courses to return to school in waves from May 20th to the end of July.

Final year students

1. Final year students who urgently need to return to school due to their graduation thesis or graduation design being due can return to school from May 20th.

2. Other students can apply for a return to school at the end of June to handle the procedures for graduation and leaving school.

Other students

1. Students who have research tasks or courses can to return to school in four waves from late May to early June.

2. Other students will not be scheduled to return to school this semester. Students who need to return to school under special circumstances, can apply to the college and return to school if approved.

Students currently overseas are not allowed to return to school until further notice is given.

Xinghai Conservatory of Music

Final year students can get return to school from May 25th to June 25th.

Other students, however, will not return to school for face-to-face classes.

Guangdong University of Finance & Economics

Final year undergraduate students return to school from May 17th.

Final year postgraduate students will go back from June 18th.

Other students, however, will not return to school for face-to-face classes this semester.

South China Agricultural University

1.Final year postgraduates who need to return to school to supplement their graduation thesis and some other postgraduates who need to return to school for scientific research can return to school in three waves in May.

2.Final year postgraduate and undergraduate students who need to return to school to complete the procedures for leaving school are scheduled to return to school in seven waves in June.

3.Other students will continue online classes and examinations as required, and are not allowed to return to school until further notice is given.

4.International students currently in China follow the same back to school plans as domestic students. Students currently overseas are not allowed to return to school until further notice is given.
