On May 14th, the organizers of the 127th Canton Fair have issued the third set of online participation instructions for exhibitors on how to upload exhibit information and start a live stream. There will be no special network requirements or restrictions on overseas purchasers wanting to visit the fair.

The instructions have made clear that each exhibitor will have at least one live stream room in the exhibition center. The maximum number of rooms will be determined by the enterprise's allocated exhibition area and the total number of rooms.

Exhibitors can start a live stream from any country or region, but the host is required to have both an ID and a mobile phone number on the Chinese mainland.

In terms of information security, exhibitors can decide whether the non-text information of the exhibits is accessible to the general public, to domestic buyers, or to overseas buyers and procurement representatives (representatives of overseas enterprises in China). All non-textual information will be disclosed to other exhibitors only unless you choose to open it to the public.

1.The exhibition center

Q: Is the online display platform only available in Chinese and English? Does it support other languages?

A: The platform is currently available in Chinese and English only.

Q: Can I apply for a joint exhibition (two enterprises upload and manage their exhibits in a shared account)? If both enterprises have booths, can they close one of them and share one booth?

A: No. You must log in to separate accounts to manage your exhibit information. One enterprise, one account. Merging or closing is not allowed.

Q: Will the online platform continue to function after the end of the Canton Fair? Can purchasers continue to use this platform?

A: The platform will retain its query function regarding exhibits. Stay tuned for further updates about other functions.

2.Upload information

Q: Can I revise my enterprise and exhibit information during the online session?

A: You can revise all information except for the enterprise’s basic information.

Q: Is there a column for uploading product patents, other certification and the instruction manual?

A: You can upload relevant photos to the exhibit’s introduction module.

Q: Can enterprises have multiple contacts? Can I have different contacts for different exhibits?

A: Currently, only one contact can be added per enterprise.

3.Live stream

Q: Can I have a real-time voice connection in the live stream (start the live stream in China but give an introduction to purchasers from overseas)?

A: Real-time voice connection is currently not available.

Q: Can I upload a recorded video in ‘video upload’ section of the live stream?

A: If you want to play a recorded video in the live stream room, you can play it on your own computer and synchronize with the live steam through third-party software. The system will automatically generate a playback video after the live stream.
