As the pandemic loosens it’s grip on Guangdong, all 14 5A-level tourist attractions in the province will reopen (except for some areas) before the upcoming five-day May Day holiday, and the tourism industry is expected to see an upswing.
Guangdong authorities have recently issued guidelines on epidemic prevention and control during May Day holiday.
According to the guidelines, during May Day, visiting scenic areas and cultural attractions need reservations in advance, with indoor venues still closed. Tourist reception volume of each scenic spot shall not exceed 30% of the approved maximum capacity.
Tourists are suggested to make a reservation before setting out.
