According to Southern Metropolis Daily, universities and colleges can arrange senior students to return to campus after May 11th; students of universities and colleges, and students of vocational schools can return after May 18th. Schools will have their students return in waves based on their student characteristics, local status and available medical supplies.
In addition, teachers and students in other regions and countries should not return without receiving notice from the campus. If the school requires them to return, they should strictly follow the local regulations and undergo observation in quarantine upon entry. They should monitor their health condition and fill in the health declaration card every day, and return to school only if they are healthy and have completed all quarantine procedures.
The education department also requires schools to set up a separate quarantine room, so that anyone who is running a fever or shows other symptoms can be quarantined immediately.
When taking the train, plane, or other public transportation on their way to school, students and teachers should wear a mask throughout the journey, and try to avoid directly touching public facilities such as doorknobs and elevator buttons. If necessary, using sanitiser to clean their hands, trying to keep a distance of more than 1 meter between themselves and other passengers.
