All these cases were from Guangzhou. There were 4 asymptomatic cases, with 2 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen and 1 in Shantou.

As of 23:59, April 8th, Guangdong had reported 1,539 cases in total, 1,423 of which are patients who have now recovered. The province reported 176 imported cases.

According to the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, the 2 patients who had close contact with a pervious imported case are couple.

They live in Longdong Street, Tianhe District and work at a trading center on Guangyuanxi Road. They are engaged in the foreign trade and wholesaling business.
