Starting from March 13th, China Southern Airlines gradually resumes more than 1600 international flights from Guangzhou to Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other regions, and increase cargo flights from Guangzhou and Shanghai Pudong to Europe, America and other regions.

The airline first resumed flights from Guangzhou to Australia and New Zealand on March 13th. There will be one flight per day for Flight CZ325 / 326 (round-trip from Guangzhou to Sydney), Flight CZ321 / 344 (round-trip from Guangzhou to Melbourne), and four flights per week for Flight CZ305 / 306 (round-trip from Guangzhou to Auckland).

Flights from Guangzhou to Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Christchurch, and flights from Shenzhen to Sydney, Melbourne and other routes will gradually recovered starting from June Flights from Guangzhou to Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland will be increased.

In terms of North American routes, flights from Guangzhou to Los Angeles and San Francisco will gradually resume as of March 19th. From March 19th to 28th, there will be one flight from Guangzhou to Los Angeles every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and one flight from Guangzhou to San Francisco every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, all of which will be carried out by the wide-body Boeing 787. After March 28th, China Southern will gradually increase the number of flights from Guangzhou to North America.

In terms of European routes, China Southern plans to resume 4 shifts of flights from Guangzhou to London per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, starting from March 22nd.

In addition, flights from Guangzhou to Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and other Southeast Asian cities will also recover.

There will be 21 extra cargo flights from Guangzhou and Pudong to Europe and America, and 19 to Osaka, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. The number of international cargo fights will reach over 250 in March.

As the epidemic situation at the global level is still severe, China Southern has implemented multiple differentiated safety and management measures. All passengers on international rebound flights will have their temperature checked before boarding. An on-board temperature check will be carried out on long flights over 4 hours.

Moreover, China Southern will help passengers for their health declaration, by providing instructions for both electronic declaration and health declaration cards.

China Southern has strictly implemented epidemic prevention measures for the crew and disinfection of the cabin, as well as simplify the on-board meal service. The airlines will also cooperate with destination airports to carry out preventive measures.
