Guangdong reported 42 novel coronavirus cases, raising the total number to 725 as of midday February 3rd. A Pakistan in among the newly diagnosed cases. This is the second Pakistani case of coronavius in Guangdong.

Guangdong Provincial Government held the 9th press conference regarding the fight against the coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in Guangzhou today.

According to the press conference, many districts and areas in Guangdong are taking every measure in epidemic control and prevention. For instance, people with Hubei travel records are requested to self quarantined, and the public are advised to cancel gatherings and travels.

Moreover, local authorities play a key role in promoting public health education, especially those with expat communities, including Yuexiu District of Guangzhou and Nanshan District of Shenzhen. For example, Yuexiu District has worked out a guide in 6 languages for foreigners, in order to help them get timely information on hospitals, transport and self-protection.
