Apart from enjoying the fragrant flowers, you can also wander in the night markets and enjoy delicious food in Guangzhou during the coming Chinese New Year holiday between Janaury 24th and 30th!
From January 17th to February 1st, Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau and Meituan, a popular food delivery app in China, jointly hold a food festival to provide local residents with high-quality food service, attracting 192 restaurant brands with 2,300 stores, covering all 11 districts of the city.
Stylish delicacy has always been a unique feature of Guangzhou. According to statistics, the consumption of Guangzhou's night dining orders accounts for 55.2% of the total amount in the entire day.
More than 20,000 restaurants keep open until 2:00 in the morning, and over 4,000 of which run overnight business. Hence, Guangzhou is rated as the most dynamic city in terms of night meals.
Participating merchants for the event include traditional Cantonese restaurants such as Bingsheng, Guangzhou Restaurant and To To Kui, as well as fast-food restaurants including McDonald's, KFC, Kungfu and Dicos.
That can satisfy consumers' various needs for different tastes and price levels. During the event, theses restaurants will put up a specific poster. Regular delivery service will also be provided during the holiday.

There is also a specially designed 'hunting map' for the event. The map marks 11 featured buildings, 25 travelling spots, 43 Spring Festival restaurants and 10 new year flower markets. You may have an interesting experience following the map and checking out these attractive spots around the city.
It's also worth mentioning that the participating restaurants will still provide their customers with dishes at reasonable prices during the holiday. They are offering Spring Festival set menus including their specialities and signature dishes. A total of 465 stores of 78 brands will waive the delivery fees and give a 30% discount.
