A weak wave of cold air hit Guangzhou last night on November 13th and will drop temperatures by as much as 3-4 ℃ over the next couple of days, after which temperatures are expected to temporarily climb again.
Tomorrow morning, November 15th, Guangzhou will see a low of 14℃ in the city center and 6-9℃ in mountainous areas in the north.
From November 18th to 19th, a stronger wave of cold air is expected to wash over Guangzhou and bring temperatures down to a much chillier 13-21℃, so dig out those fall looks, you might finally have chance to show them off.
In addition, the meteorological office announced that Guangzhou officially entered Autumn as of November 6th with the city’s average temperature remaining below 22℃ for five consecutive days. However, as the cold air will not bring rainfall, there are no signs of rain to clear up the haze hanging over the city during the next week.
