French steak, Chilean salmon, Indian naan bread... Between November 22nd and December 1st, you will be able to enjoy mouth-watering delicacies from all over the world during the 2019 Guangzhou International Food Festival at Xiongfeng International Food City, Panyu District.

Chefs from a dozen countries will prepare regional dishes for tourists, such as Spanish churros, German pork, Korean rice cake, and Thai mango rice. Not only could you taste these amazing delicacies, but you will also get to know more about different food cultures.

Compared with last year, the organizers have invited more international food enterprises to participate in the event and are placing emphasis on serving more kinds of food. Visitors can purchase delicious snacks and high quality ingredients from both China and abroad, including British prawns, Argentinean beef and Alaska king crab.

You also won’t want to miss out on the delicious Chinese food, especially the Cantonese cuisine. A large number of famous local restaurants, such as Guangzhou Restaurant, Panyu Hotel, and a few Michelin-starred restaurants, will bring their special dishes to the festival. A pavilion will be set up to showcase typical foods from Hong Kong and Macao during the festival, including egg tarts and Portuguese chicken.

The festival will cover an area of 70,000 square meters, with 288 booths and 50 fixed stores providing food, drinks and entertainment for visitors.

The festival is being hosted by the People’s Government of Guangzhou and Chinese Cuisine Association, and organized by the People’s Government of Panyu District.
