November is upon us and a whole lot of treats for theater fans are on the schedule. Here is a guide to some of the biggest theatrical events of the month at Guangzhou Opera House.

Not only will two renowned, popular singers from China (Lei Jia, celebrated soprano and opera singer, and Liao Changyong, famous baritone known by people from the hit singing competition reality show Super Vocal) take to the stage to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the PRC’s founding with some of the most classic golden oldies, we will also be able to enjoy some delightful performances of classical music brought by one of the world's most celebrated ensembles the Britten Sinfonia as well as French pianist Pascal Roge and German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott. If that’s not enough to get you into the theater, how about a star-studded Cantonese opera night?
