The 2019 Dance Festival presented by Guangzhou Opera House kicked off on September 6th. The festival will present a total of 27 works from both China and abroad throughout September and October. The performances on offer are very broads, including classical dance, ballet, modern dance, dance drama and street dance, as well as screenings of some of the best dance works in the world.
Wang Yabin, director and choreographer of dance drama ‘An Individual Soliloquy’ attended the press conference at the festival to share her stories that day at the Guangzhou Opera House. Wang was recognised as a ‘cultural exchange ambassador for the new era’ by the city of Guangzhou.
