The 4th China-Africa Youth Festival was held in Guangdong from August 30th to September 4th. More than 100 youngsters from Africa visited Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Qingyuan.
During the trip, they not only experienced the traditional Lingnan culture in Guangzhou, but also got an insight into the development of Guangdong's technological industry and e-commerce through visiting Shenzhen and Qingyuan.
On September 4th, the last day of the event, Chinese and African youths came together at the Nansha Bird Park to plant 54 golden trumpet trees (a tree with beautiful bright yellow blossoms), representing 53 African countries and the African Union, to witness the development of China-Africa friendships.
