Heavy rain hit most cities in the Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong at dusk on July 10, but this round of rain will likely lead to more humid weather, according to China's meteorological authorities.
During the next few days, Guangdong will see increasingly stifling heat. Temperatures are expected to reach 34℃ in western Guangdong while weather in the Pearl River Delta will rise to 36℃ through the weekend, weather officials said. From July 12th to 13th, most of the province will be cloudy with showers.
Next week, Shaoguan, Qingyuan and Zhaoqing are expected to see heavy rains and thunderstorms. The rest of the province will be cloudy with scattered showers, according to meteorological data.
