The Guangdong National Orchestra of China (GNOC) is going to stage two concerts both in Gyeonggi in South Korea and Hyogo in Japan next week, featuring traditional Chinese music originally from the province played with traditional instruments.

‘House of Flying Daggers' to be performed by GNOC in S.Korea and Japan.

The concerts form parts of the ‘Charming China · Guangdong Culture Week’ that will be held in the above-mentioned regions, organised by the Information Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, aiming to promote cultural exchange between Guangdong and both South Korea and Japan.

About the GNOC

GNOC is one of the most influential orchestras and elite national Chinese folk music performance groups in China, with a mission to develop and promote Chinese folk music. The orchestra comprises renowned performers, most of whom are from the Cantonese region and who have great enthusiasm and understanding for Cantonese music. Over the years, they have brought their performances to a number of other countries and regions around Europe, America, Africa and Asia.
