Stories of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Zhuhai are presented in text, pictures, paintings, videos, and multimedia interaction along the slow-traffic passageway of the Banzhang Mt Tunnels.

The "Red" exhibition "Always Follow the Footsteps of the CPC" opened June 10. The first part reviews major historical events of the Party over the past 100 years. There is also a section earmarked for people to swear the oath to join the Party.

The second part of the exhibition focuses on "Red Boat" and "Jinggangshan" spirits, which respectively mark the conclusion of the First National Congress of the CPC in July 1921 and "cradle" of the Chinese revolution at the Hunan and Jiangxi provincial borders.

Statues of Zhuhai natives Su Chao-cheng (Su Zhaozheng), Yang Pao-an (Yang Pao'an), and Lin Wei-min (Lin Weimin) are erected in the third part. These patriots made great contribution to the growth of the CPC, development of China's Workers Movement, and transmission of Marxism in China. In addition, scenes of Xiaohaochong – the first Party branch in Zhuhai – and the Wanshan Archipelago Campaign are displayed on light boxes.

The tremendous change in Zhuhai since becoming a special economic zone in 1980 are shown on light boxes in Part 4, while Part 6 is a text matrix foretelling the city's mission during the new era.

A hundred children's paintings form a giant "100" at Part 5, delivering a most sincere blessing for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

The exhibition is organized by the Office of the Party History Study & Education Leading Group and Publicity Department of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee and will continue through July 31.

Not far away, Zhuhai's largest outdoor LED screen at Yindo (Grand Jasper) Hotel in Gongbei broadcast "Red" stories the same day. And a large interview event by Zhuhai Media Group was initiated to cover stories about the Long March and Yan'an spirits.
