More than 2,050 invention and innovation projects are on display at the ongoing 24th National Exhibition of Inventions in Foshan, south China's Guangdong Province.

The three-day exhibition, which opened on Thursday, has display areas that show the role of sci-tech in helping poverty alleviation, exhibit high-end equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environment protection, biomedicines and smart homes.

The exhibition is being hosted by the China Association of Inventions, BRICS Business Council, department of science and technology of Guangdong Province and Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology.
