2020 marks the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, and Xiamen being established as Special Economic Zones. This successful practice could not be possible without the participation and cooperation from countries in the rest of the world, who, in turn, have also benefited from the broad spaces for development. A vast majority of our foreign friends and overseas Chinese have witnessed and contributed greatly to the establishment of these Special Economic Zones.
