The Huangpu research institute of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) will settle in the university's campus this September in the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) in Huangpu district.

The 2020 postgraduates from the School of Interpreting and Translation Studies and the School of Legal Studies will be the first batch of students to start studies in the Huangpu research institute.

The new campus in CSGKC is expected to make full use of the resources in CSGKC such as its high-end companies and top-level professional institutions, to make innovations in the cultivation of postgraduates, offering talent support for the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Other universities and scientific research institutions are also scheduled to settle in Huangpu, such as the National University of Singapore, Xidian University, and Guangzhou University, to form a hub for scientific innovative talents in the Greater Bay Area.
