An intangible cultural heritage show was staged at Lutang Village Cultural Square in Xiashan district of Zhanjiang, Guangdong province on July 14, attracting more than 1,000 citizens to stop and enjoy the unique performances.

The show was held by Xiashan district's publicity department, civilization office, culture, tourism and sports bureau, as well as its cultural center. Famous folk arts in Zhanjiang, such as the Human Dragon Dance and the Zhanjiang Nuo Dance were performed in turns to warm applause.

The event organizer also held an exhibition of Zhanjiang's intangible cultural heritages on the same day, displaying pictures of dozens of projects, including Lei Opera and Leizhou Stone Dogs. The achievements of the city in the exploration, protection, and inheritance of intangible cultural heritages were also demonstrated on site.
