On February 18th Chinese authorities unveiled the outline development plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), and Guangdong launched its English website (http://www.cnbayarea.org.cn/english/) a month later on March 18th.

3月18日，在《粤港澳大湾区发展规划纲要》公开发布1个月之际，由广东省推进粤港澳大湾区建设领导小组办公室主办、南方新闻网承办的广东省粤港澳大湾区门户网英文版(http://www.cnbayarea.org.cn/english/)正式上线。

The website is a portal timely broadcasting important news and information to people working, living, investing and traveling in the region. The website consists of About GBA, News, Specials, Policies and Services sections.

英文版网站将面向世界展现湾区风采，发布湾区权威信息，推广湾区品牌，为在湾区工作、生活、学习、投资、旅游的人群和各类市场主体提供资讯及办事指引服务，设有湾区概况（About GBA），新闻资讯（News），特别策划（Specials），湾区政策（Policy）和资讯服务（Service）等栏目。

The News section provides stories about the GBA's construction and progress both in the province and in the whole region, with more on GBA's international exchange and cooperation. While the Specials section focuses on certain topics or events enriched with photos, videos, info-graphics and more. The Service section provides advisory services and useful information such as visa and work application information for people who want to work, live, study, invest or just travel in the GBA.

新闻资讯栏目主要提供大湾区建设进展情况和动态新闻，内容将更侧重于大湾区国际交流合作。此外，力求把握更接地气的新媒体时代传播规律，英文网站开设“特别策划”栏目，通过本地制作的新媒体产品，用图像、音像视频、H5、图解等多媒体形式，全景展示粤港澳大湾区。信息服务板块将为在粤港澳大湾区的外籍友人提供一站式的生活资讯信息，包括签证、领馆、工作、医疗、交通、婚姻等。

The website is fully PC and mobile compatible and is hosted by the Guangdong office for the promotion the construction of the GBA and is operated by Southcn.com and Newsgd.com.

The Chinese website launched On February 20th, and has quickly became a main source for people to understand the GBA.
