A cold wave will sweep across Guangdong from January 31st to February 1st and bring the temperature down 3℃～7℃ in most cities with light rain.

The cold wave will hit the north of Guangdong first during the day and then the south later in the evening. It will turn weak on February 2nd with the temperature climbing up again until another weak cold wave which is estimated to arrive from February 4th to 5th.

According to the Guangdong Meteorological Observatory, Guangdong is expected to be most cloudy until the end of the Spring Festival. However, the temperature will be warm and suitable for traveling and outdoor activities.

If you are travelling outside the province, you will have a warm welcome from Guangdong at the end of the holiday so wearing autumn outfit will be ok when coming back.
