Last Friday (May 13th) the Guangdong Division of Exit & Entry Administration, Department of Public Security released 19 policies intended to make transportation to and from Hong Kong more convenient. Officials said
that a major motivation for the policies was the upcoming opening of Hong Kong Disney Land and the expectation of more travelers going to Hong Kong.

In order to ease the pressure at the passport registration office, Guangdong will offer an express-mail registration service. Applicants can send and retrieve passports by express-mail and pay the transaction fee to the postmen.
