It is learned from the Press Conference held by the People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality that the International Museum Day (May 18) and the Cultural Heritage Day (June 9) will be held together. Several events will held during the celebration of over 20 days. The site of Woodden Water Gate built during the Nan-Yue State will hold exhibitions, which is an important historic scenic spot combining the historical relics of Nan-Yue State and business center. And on the day of May 18, 2007, all the municipal level comprehensive museums (Nan-Yue King Mausoleum excluded), memorials, trades museums and non-governmental museums as well as the Guangdong Provincial Museum and the Guangdong Museum of Arts will be open to the public for free.
