As of September 1st, citizens in China will be able to travel to 27 European countries in groups.
At present, however, there are only 28 countries and regions across the globe that permit Chinese citizens to travel to these countries officially, including five European countries (including Germany and Hungary of the European Union or EU). From September 1st, the tourism business in the country will also allow Chinese citizens to travel to 27 European countries officially.
These countries comprise Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Romania.
In addition, eight African countries, which have already signed the memoranda with China, would also undertake to carry out their business deals with China and permit its citizens to tour their countries.
