The Baiyun Airport Hotel, which is one of the closest five-star hotels to an airport complex in the world, opened on January 8th, 2007. Passengers can take a short five-minute walk to the main terminal for boarding procedures.

The Hotel is located within the airport complex. Double sound-insulation glass is installed in every room of the Hotel to keep the aircraft noise from affecting passengers' rest.

Accor Group of Hotels has been appointed to manage the Hotel, the first modern business hotel built according to five-star hotel standards in Huadu District. The 460-room Hotel can house 920 people at most, including 8 categories of Standard Room, Deluxe Suite, Superior Business Room, Presidential Suite, etc.

The Hotel is conveniently located to the north of the Baiyun Airport Main Terminal, near the terminal building, facing the airport control tower to the north and the terminal building on its south side. It is the only airport hotel in China, surrounded by an airport complex. The highway at the doorway connects directly with the airport speedway, while the exit of the terminal stop of the planned Metro Line 3 leads directly to the Hotel.

Since the opening of the new airport, there have been several small hotels managed by the Airport or the airways built in the neighborhood, but no genuine comprehensive airport hotels open to passengers.
