Section I of Metro Line No. 3 to be temporarily closed

Metro Line No. 3 and No. 4 lines will be wholly open to public from December 30. Approved by Guangzhou municipal government, section I (Guangdong East Station to Kecun) of No. 3 line will be temporarily closed commencing November 20 for a test run. Moreover, Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center section of No. 4 line will stop operation commencing December 20 for a nine-day test. Metro company has reminded passengers to pay attention to the broadcast and notices of stations and adopt other traffic modes during the period.

No. 3 line is the first express line of China above 120km/hour and No. 4 line is the first medium & large capacity straight-line motor system of the world.

Section I of No. 3 line and Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center section of No. 4 line, completed at the end of last year, provide convenience for nearby residents and the 100,000 staff and students of the Center.
