According to information at a press conference yesterday (June 16), a 104.6 kilometer long express railway running between Guangzhou and Shenzhen will be constructed.
The speed of the train will be up to 300 kilometers per hour. According to the plan, the route will have 5 stops including Guangzhou, Guangzhou's Dongyong, Dongguan's Humen and Shenzhen's Gongming and New Shenzhen stations. Construction on the route is to start at the end of this year and should open in 2010.
