Travelers planning to spend their holidays in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai or Shantou can grab big discounts from Jan 1 by traveling with China Southern Airlines, and may claim free travel packages after the journey.

The offer includes a 70 percent discount for a return ticket from 40 cities to the four cities in Guangdong Province, as well as a free orientation tour package after arriving.

Any passenger arriving in the four cities between Jan. 9 and Feb. 11, and leaving between Feb. 23 and March 13, can take up the offer.

The promotion will cover more than 100 routes, and intending passengers can call the airline's hotline (950-333 for residents in the four cities and 11185 for in Guangdong Province) to book their tickets. Bookings can also be made through travel agencies or on the airline's Web Site www.cs-air.com/en/.

The discounts apply only to tickets purchased in the province and the free travel packages need to be booked seven days in advance. The hotline for booking the packages is 800 8306 828.
