People working in Shenzhen who want to return home for the Chinese Lunar New Year by coach could buy tickets in any of 12 coach stations, which had set up a combined network for ticket sales, the Daily Sunshine reported Saturday.
Tickets for travel before Feb. 8 are now available at Silver Lake, Bao'an, Longgang, Shekou, Shajing, Xixiang, Pingshan, Dapeng, Children's Park in Nanyou, Shanghai Hotel, Buji and Buxin stations.
People can buy tickets from any of the stations. No service fee would be charged, said the report. People can dial 160 for coach schedules and ticket sales information.
From Jan. 20, tickets for coaches departing from another six stations would be accessible at any coach station in Shenzhen, according to officials at an office overseeing the Spring Festival transportation. These are Luohu, Futian, East Lake, Nanshan, Huanggang and Yantian stations.
Officials at the office said the coach transport capacity during the Spring Festival had reached 250,000 people a day, extending to 20 cities in Guangdong, as well as another 17 provinces.
It is estimated that 11,180 coaches will be available to transport passengers for the Spring Festival.
