Guangzhou will offer a new tour route which features one of its oldest communities, Yaohua by the end of this month. Yaohua is an area that has been preserving Guangzhou's traditions and folk-customs. Tourists can visit Guangzhou's traditional houses, antique furniture stores and the volunteer tourist center. Liangdong, Vice Director of the Liwan District Tourism Bureau in introduced the new route as the first focusing on the city's community and folk-customs. The tour will allow tourists to learn more about local culture and its residents. He also said that the first group of tourists is from Japan.
