In order to protect and rescue the ancient farming culture, Yichang city of Hubei province built China's biggest natural museum of ancient workshops in Chexi scenic spot. The ancient workshops ranged from drilling wood for fire in the primitive society to paper-making and pottery since the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127 AD), to mills appeared shortly after the Chinese liberation, demonstrating the ever existing farming culture in Chinese countryside.
