The 98th Canton Fair kicks off

The 98th Chinese (Guangzhou) Export Commodities Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, opens in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong Province this morning (Oct. 15th).

This session has attracted 50 trading delegations and 12,655 exhibitors in total, 376 more than the previous session. And 4,628 private owned enterprises, which present China's new economic force, have take part in, accounting for 36.57% of the total.

A total of 1471 enterprises of Guangdong delegation have attended, taking 3809 booths. There are 706 private owned enterprises in Guangdong delegation, accounting for 48% of the total.
