The Chinese Export Commodity Fair (CECF), or Canton Fair, has attracted some 71,722 purchasers by the end of Oct 17th and see a trade volume of 5.83 bln USD, a rise of 18.91% and 13.8% respectively against the same period of previous session.
According to the fair organizer, 44,358 purchasers are from Asia, 12,078 from Europe, 2,112 from Oceania, 7,629 from America and 4300 from Africa, up respectively 12.09%, 59.36%, 24.16%, 20.90% and 7.13%. And attendants from EU (European Union) 25 countries reach 9,151 in number, up by 63%.
Among the purchasers, 37,572 are new faces, 31.38% over the same period of last session.
The fair offer VIP service for the large international purchase groups and attract 39 of the top 200 international buyers, including WAL-MART, CARREFOUR, TESCO, etc.
The trade volume of electromechanical products reaches 3.49649 bln USD, accounting for 60% of the total of the fair. And the textile and garment trade rank the second.
This fair pays additional attention to support the brand strategy in a bid to optimize the structure of the export.
