   Home-Specials-Spring Festival 2005-Flower Market
Flowers for the Spring Festival passing faster to HK
Latest Updated by 2005-02-02 10:41:03

The Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Foshan's Shunde district said that they would take all measures possible to speed up the process of checking and sending flowers to Hong Kong, in order to let the flowers be sold during the busy season at the flower fair in Hong Kong.

Now the flowers can be examined and export within one day. According to the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Shenzhen, they can process more than 120 batches of flowers sent to Hong Kong through Wenjindu port.

Since mid-January, the Shenzhen Bureau began to conduct inspection and quarantine work at the production sites instead of doing it at the port.

In addition, the Bureau opened three special "green passes" for the quick processing of flowers along the border.
