From 10 a.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Tuesday, three SARS patients recovered and left hospital. But 25 new unconfirmed infections were reported Tuesday, the department said.
To 10 a.m. Tuesday, there were 1,509 SARS cases reported in the province, with 1,322 people recovering and 56 deaths. There were 435 unconfirmed cases.
To date, six cities have no SARS reports, including Maoming, Yangjiang, Yunfu, Jieyang, Meizhou and Qingyuan.
Foshan, Zhongshan, Shaoguan, Dongguan, Zhuhai and Shanwei have not had any new SARS cases for 20 days.
