Chinese Ministry of Health (MOH) Sunday reported no new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) case, no new suspect SARS case and no new death from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. June 14 to 10:00 a.m. June 15.
According to the ministry, 29 SARS patients were discharged from hospitals upon recovery during the period, including 21 in Beijing, five in the Inner Mongolia and three in Shanxi Province.
In the meantime, three suspect SARS cases were ruled out: two in Tianjin and one in Beijing.
The total number of suspect SARS cases on the Chinese mainland was 50 as of 10:00 a.m. June 15, according to the MOH.
As of 10:00 a.m. June 15, there were 361 SARS patients hospitalized on the Chinese mainland.
