Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games will be held from November 12th to 27th if the city wins the right of hosting the Games, releases Mr. Xu Deli, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province at the first working conference of the Guangzhou 2010 Asiad Bid Committee.
At the conference held yesterday (April 8th), Mr. Xu, the executive chairman of the Committee, also says that the Guangzhou Asian Games is planned to include 32 to 34 sports and one or two performances of local sport cultural heritage.
Experts study the city's weather data during the past three decades and find the weather in November most suitable for outdoor sports activities in Guangzhou, with the temperatures, air pressure, sunshine and humidity moderate, as well as less precipitation and bad weather occurring.
