An agreement between Guangdong Tianyue Cyber Technology Co. Ltd (www.polyhappy.com), a rising star of China's interactive entertainment industry, and Electronic Arts Inc., the world's largest entertainment software developer and publisher, was signed today, with the aim of building a long-term strategic partnership.

Officials present at the signing ceremony included Executive Vice-Mayor Shen Bonian and officials from the Guangzhou Bureau of Science and Technology, the Administration of Press, Publication, Broadcast and Television of Guangzhou, Tianhe District Committee, Tianhe District Government and Guangzhou Tianhe Software Garden.

Mr. Shen stressed that the Municipal Government has always attached great importance to the development of the software, cyber games and cartoon industries; and, that the Government will spare no effort to continue its support of these industries in the future.
