The exhibition of French impressionist paintings in Beijing has attracted more than 150 thousand visitors in its first month.
The exhibition, which is part of the French Culture Year in China, is being held by the China Art Gallery in Beijing, with 51 famous works of French impressionists on display.
So far, its attracted an average of 5000 visitors a day.
Here is one of the visitors.
"They are really good. I like it, and I hope there will be more opportunities for Chinese people to enjoy French art."
The China Art Gallery has put up a special board on which visitors can leave messages about the exhibition.
So popular is the exhibition that the board has now been changed five times as Chinese people express their appreciation of the French masters.
Organizers say the low ticket price is another reason for the large number of visitors.
