TAIWAN's king of pop Lo Ta-yu will light up Shenzhen's Christmas Eve with the concert "Hero's True Color" along with Chief Zhao and Chang Chen-yue. The three singers will make an appearance as three types of heroes "Heartfelt Hero", "Folk Hero" and "Rock and Roll Hero."

Three years ago, Lo Ta-yu held a concert in Shenzhen, as his first show in southern China. Unfortunately, the heavy rain hindered his performance. This time, hopefully, he will be able to compensate for the disappointment of last time. Lo Ta-yu will reward his loyal fans with an upcoming concert, which will also feature two bands "Free Night" and "Red Cross" to accompany the live show. Pop music fans can expect an extra vanganza filled with diverse visual and acoustic effects.

Also taking center stage is Chief, who made a name for himself with the household song I am Ugly But I am Tender. This time around, he will perform those familiar melodies depicting the inner world of urban men. Another singer is Chang Chen-yue, who is known as a rock and roll hero. He has just finished his 2004 tour concert in United States and he will make his first appearance on the Shenzhen stage.

It is a coincidence that Lo will release his new long-awaited album Beautiful Island on Friday. It took him eight years to finish. While the concert mainly features his old songs, the new album will offer a fresh listening experience with a combination of modern musical elements and traditional folk tunes.
