China's Zhang Nan, the 2003 world bronze medalist, garnered the women's individual all -around gymnastics bronze with 38.049 points at the Athens Olympics Thursday (Aug.19).
The bronze was the first medal pocketed by the Chinese gymnastics team at the Athens Olympics.
American Carly Patterson won the gold medal, Khorkina from Russia gets silver.
