Hungarian duo wins women's C2 500m Olympic Gold

Hungarian duo of Katalin Kovacs and natasa Janics won the gold medal of women's C2 500m at the Athens Olympic Games on Saturday (Aug 28).

The Hungarian pair was timed at 1:38.101, followed by Birgit Fischer and Carolin Leonhardt of Germany in the second place at 1:39.533. The bronze medal was taken by Aneta Pastuszka and KuleszaBeata Sokolowska of Poland at 1:40.077.
