Chinese duo wins men's C2 Olympic Gold

Chinese pair Meng Guanliang and Yang Wenjun won China the 28th gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games when they triumphed in the men's C2 500m final on Saturday (Aug 28).

Meng and Yang were timed at 1:40.279 for the title, followed byCuba and Russia in the second and third places respectively.
