Paying Airport Construction Fee Passengers should pay at the specified counters the Airport Construction Fee, which is RMB 50 per person for regular passengers and RMB 10 for passengers of lateral flights. Passengers that transit within 8 hours and children not older than 12 with half-fare tickets can be exempted for the payment.
Passengers could decide on their own wishes whether to purchase air insurance or not to.
Special voucher of airport construction fee can be purchased and used only in the depot terminal and will be intraday-valid.
Security Check Passengers should have their boarding cards, flight tickets, valid personal identifications and vouchers of airport construction fee ready before the security check. To ensure flight safety passengers are required to pass through metal-detecting doors, and their hand-baggage is subject to x-ray inspections.
Waiting and boarding According to the gate number on the boarding card, passengers could find and relax in the corresponding waiting area. Boarding starts generally 30 minutes ahead of flight take-off, and will be announced in public addressing.
Tips For efficiency of boarding the boarding card should be taken good care of. Do not fold the boarding card.
Note Passengers will be paying their Airport Construction Fee together with flight tickets after Sep.1.2004.
